The businessman stated that in 2025, Neuralink plans to install an additional 20-30 chips, continuing to expand the trials of its technology.
Since its inception in 2016, Neuralink has been developing devices that enable the transmission of brain signals via Bluetooth, allowing for control of computers and smartphones through brain impulses. In the spring of 2023, the company was granted permission to conduct human trials of its implant.
Last August, a paralyzed man was able to play video games again thanks to the Neuralink chip. At that time, the company released a video on its website showing the patient playing the video game Counter-Strike 2 using only his thoughts.
