Uzbekistan will establish an extensive network of clubs for team sports.
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the President has approved a decree aimed at identifying talented youth and promoting team sports. As stated in the document, starting from the next academic year, all state universities will establish sports clubs for volleyball, basketball, handball, rugby, field hockey, and water polo, reports the correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

According to the legal information channel of the Ministry of Justice, similar clubs will be established in other state universities, focusing on at least three team sports.
Furthermore, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, large-scale competitions will be organized, including the "School League," "Student League," "Higher Education Cup," and "Rector's Cup."
Sports clubs will also be opened in ministries, agencies, and state-owned companies, where tournaments such as the "Director's Cup" and "Hokim's Cup" will be held.
Entrepreneurial structures will not be left out of these initiatives. They too will establish clubs for team sports and will practice hosting corporate sports events.
