The awards ceremony took place in Dubai following the conclusion of the tournament under the auspices of IBA, which was held on December 7.
"The promised prize money was awarded to the champions of the 2024 Olympic Games, as boxing is indeed IBA," wrote Kremlov on his Telegram channel.
It is known that the head of IBA presented Uzbek boxers with $100,000 each, congratulating them on their victory at the Olympic Games.
Cash prizes were awarded to five boxers from Uzbekistan: Bahodir Jalolov, Hasanboy Dusmatov, Lazizbek Mullajonov, Abdumalik Halokov, and Asadkhuzha Muydinkhujaev.
Let us remind you that in November, Uzbekistan, aiming to maintain boxing as an Olympic sport, received approval for the application for the national boxing federation of Uzbekistan to join the World Boxing International Boxing Organization. It should be noted that joining a new organization effectively means leaving IBA.
