The Uzbekistan Federation of Motorsport and Karting has joined the international association.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the National Federation of Automobile Sports and Karting of Uzbekistan (NAFKU) has officially joined the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). This announcement was made during the General Assembly of the organization held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

Representatives from 95 national federations across five continents attended the assembly, with 98% of the delegates voting in favor of the Uzbek federation's membership.

"This is an important step for Uzbekistan, which will open new horizons for the development of motorcycle sports in the country and the region as a whole," the federation's press service stated.

Joining the FIM will provide Uzbekistan with the opportunity to participate in international competitions, exchange experiences with other countries, and develop the infrastructure for auto and motorcycle sports. It will also create new prospects for talented athletes and motorcycle sport enthusiasts.
