In Uzbekistan, mobile service providers will be exempt from excise tax on the services they offer.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, starting from the new year, the excise tax on mobile communication services in Uzbekistan will be abolished. Currently, this tax stands at 10%. This announcement was made during a meeting chaired by the president, where plans for supporting entrepreneurship in 2025 were discussed.
В Узбекистане мобильные операторы будут освобождены от акциза на оказание услуг.

It should be noted that the provision for the cancellation of the excise tax on mobile communications was included in the budget message for 2025. The budget bill was approved by the Senate on December 18.

Let us recall that in 2021, a presidential decree was adopted, which reduced the excise tax rate on mobile communications from 20% to 15%, and in 2022 – to the current 10%. At that time, it was anticipated that the tax would be completely abolished by 2023. However, this did not happen.
