Japarov noted that this railway will serve as a strategic bridge between the East and the West, opening up new opportunities for trade, tourism, and industrial development.
"When we first began its implementation, many were skeptical about its success, even mocking it as a fairy tale. Today, everyone has seen that this is not a fairy tale, but a reality," emphasized the leader of the neighboring country during a meeting at the Jogorku Kenesh yesterday.
According to "Kabar," on the same day, a ceremony was held in Bishkek to sign an Investment Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and the "Railway Company China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan."
Delegations from both the Chinese and Uzbek sides participated in the signing ceremony, led by the Chargé d'Affaires of China in Kyrgyzstan, Li Baojie, and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Saidikram Niyazhodzhaev.
As a reminder, in July, the President of Uzbekistan approved the agreement for the construction of the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway.
