Families of the victims from the gas station explosion in the Fergana region have received compensation.

According to Farg'ona 24, the Hokim of the Fergana region visited the families affected by the tragedy, expressed his condolences, and provided necessary assistance. He also participated in the funeral.

A total of 13 people were injured in the fire that occurred on December 17 during the refueling of a gas container. All of them were taken to the hospital with burns of varying severity. One of the victims died at the scene of the fire. Later, despite the efforts of the doctors, three more victims passed away in the hospital, two of whom were children.

It is reported that currently six patients are receiving treatment under the supervision of qualified specialists from Tashkent in the hospital.

Following the explosion, law enforcement authorities have opened a criminal case. Suspects have been detained.

In light of this tragic incident, the Hokim of the Fergana region ordered a check of all gas stations in the area.
