Uzbekistan is set to establish modern laboratory centers.

All biochemical tests will be conducted not in clinics, but at designated facilities.
В Узбекистане планируется строительство современных лабораторных центров.

Starting from January 1, 2025, centralized medical laboratories will be established in Uzbekistan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Biomaterial collection points will be set up in Nukus, the Bayaut district of the Syrdarya region, and the Yashnabad district of Tashkent. Subsequently, samples transported via specialized vehicles will be sent to centralized laboratories for analysis using modern, high-quality equipment.

Test results will be transmitted back to clinics through an electronic information system, automatically recorded in the patient's electronic health record.

In some clinics, patients are referred to private facilities for more accurate results due to a lack of trust in the tests conducted at the clinic itself. The new project aims to enhance the quality of tests and provide them free of charge, according to the statement.

The services of centralized laboratories will be available through a physician's referral within the guaranteed package of health insurance, with all expenses covered by the State Medical Insurance Fund.

It is worth noting that earlier, the Ministry of Health identified the dangers of computer games for children. One in ten teenagers worldwide suffers from this addiction.
