In Uzbekistan, the TLS 1.3 and Quick protocols have been blocked, leading to access issues with certain services, reports blogger Kirill Altman, citing a source in the government.
Users of social media began noticing disruptions in their internet connection about a month ago. Recently, another issue emerged: access to some applications was only possible using a VPN.
The so-called TLS 1.3 and Quick protocols have been blocked in the country. Some resources began using them to conceal personal data, — writes Kirill Altman.
According to him, "the internet has run out" in Uzbekistan, and an expansion of traffic is expected by the end of December.
It was previously reported that half of Uzbekistan has never used the internet. Only a quarter of residents go online each day, primarily men in cities, while women are significantly fewer.
