On December 20, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation held a meeting focused on organizing the departure of students to their permanent residences during the winter break, as well as ensuring their meaningful engagement during this period, reports the ministry's press service.

Experts discussed what practical measures need to be taken to ensure safe travel for students across the country.

In particular, until December 26, additional bus and train services can be organized for students if necessary. Furthermore, if the number of students wishing to travel from Tashkent in one direction exceeds 40, a special bus service will be arranged for them.

It was previously reported that students will receive a 50% discount on train and air travel.
