In Uzbekistan, from December 20-22, a cold and moist air mass is expected to move in, according to the forecast from Uzhydromet.
As per the information, on December 20-21, there will be rain in some regions of the country, with heavy rain possible in foothill and mountainous areas. By December 21-22, nighttime temperatures may drop to -7 to -10°C, and during the day to -0 to -3°C. Icy conditions are anticipated on the roads in some areas.
Snow will once again fall in several regions, including Tashkent, Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and in the Fergana region.
It is worth reminding that on December 15, Uzbekistan was already hit by a snowstorm with strong winds and precipitation. Only the dusty wind reached Termez, which stripped the facade from the wall and knocked over the city’s Christmas tree.
