According to the leader of the "Milliy Tiklanish" party, the new law may diminish respect for the language across the CIS region.
«Выдворение, а не обучение»: Алишер Кадыров о запрете в России на обучение детей мигрантов без знания русского языка.

The leader of the "Milliy Tiklanish" party, Alisher Kadyrov, expressed his views on the ban in Russia preventing migrant children who have not passed the Russian language proficiency test from enrolling in schools.

Alisher Kadyrov stated that Russian politicians have chosen a path of expulsion for those who do not speak Russian, rather than providing education in the language, which includes excluding their children from schools. He noted that this law could significantly diminish both the necessity for the Russian language and the respect for it in post-Soviet countries.

In Uzbekistan, among our compatriots working in government institutions and their children studying in schools, there are thousands of individuals who do not speak the state language at all, — said Alisher Kadyrov.

The party leader mentioned that both the positive and negative aspects of this experience would be thoroughly analyzed to address the electorate's questions.

It is important to note that the new law in Russia will come into effect on April 1, 2025. Individuals who do not pass the Russian language proficiency test, sufficient for mastering the educational programs of primary general, basic general, and secondary general education, will not be allowed to pursue these educational programs.

Previously, Alisher Kadyrov responded to Dmitry Medvedev's call to not enroll migrant children who do not speak Russian in schools. The head of "Milliy Tiklanish" stated that harshness towards children shapes attitudes towards the language.
