On December 19, Uzbekistan began delivering gifts from the president, reports the press service of the National Agency for Social Protection.
Specifically, 12 sets of school supplies and 15 types of sweets have been prepared for boys and girls from orphanages, as well as for children of law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
In 2023, the president prepared 11,000 sets for children, which included New Year’s greetings from the president, 17 varieties of sweets, stationery, smartwatches, magnetic dartboards, and other gifts. Additionally, tablets were included in the sets for 1,600 children over the age of 12.
Earlier, it was reported how many days Uzbekistan residents would be able to rest. The duration of the winter holidays is still unknown.
