In Uzbekistan, railway passengers will be provided with free drinking water, tea, sugar, and wheelchairs, according to a government decree.
Specifically, railway passengers will receive a range of services based on market principles. This will include services provided during the journey as well as those available before it begins.
In the waiting area, passengers will have access to Wi-Fi, a mother and child room, and the ability to use restrooms designated for ticket-holding passengers.
Additionally, railway service customers will be offered free drinking water, sugar, and tea during their journey, along with wheelchairs. Passengers will also have access to a library and can receive necessary medical assistance.
It was previously reported that in anticipation of the New Year holidays, Uzbekistan introduced additional railway services and increased the number of carriages.
