Throughout various periods in the history of our nation, remarkable civilizations, vast empires, notable cities, and invaluable architectural monuments have emerged. Our great ancestors left a particularly profound mark on human history through their unique cultural heritage. The scientific, historical, and artistic works that have survived to this day are preserved in numerous locations around the globe, including foreign collections, archives, libraries, and museums. A comprehensive effort is underway by several ministries and agencies, including the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, under the Cabinet of Ministers, to study this rich and priceless cultural legacy.
