Since 2018, while exploring the changes and new initiatives in Uzbekistan, particularly in my role as the head of the Center for the Study of Ancient Manuscripts, I have visited this country multiple times. I can attest that Uzbekistan is developing a tremendous potential for a new era of revival.
In particular, the initiatives of the head of state, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aimed at studying the scientific heritage of the great scholars of Uzbekistan, are truly a unique phenomenon.
I fully support the reforms and initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan that focus on preserving the rich scientific and cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations. Efforts in this direction have received active backing not only from governmental but also from non-governmental institutions, as well as the scientific community.
The ancient heritage of Uzbekistan, along with the unique works of great scholars and thinkers, is at the forefront of global researchers' attention. They are keenly observing all the changes occurring in Uzbekistan.
The focus on education, as well as the events taking place in Uzbekistan, are indeed unique and remarkable. This can be described as a volcano in the Islamic world. We have expanded our collaboration with the Center for Islamic Civilization, the centers of Imam Bukhari, Imam Maturidi, Imam Tirmidhi, and the International Islamic Academy. Dialogue with Uzbek scholars fosters further enrichment and activation of our cooperation.
