Yesterday, the director of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, Firdaus Abdukholekov, held a meeting with representatives of the Italian company Magister Art.
The delegation first visited the under-construction building of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
The guests were provided with information about the building, which is being constructed on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the projects being implemented in collaboration with local and foreign scholars to enrich the content with new material.
The delegation showed great interest in examining the ancient and unique exhibits presented in the Center's exhibition hall. The guests learned about the contributions of such outstanding scholars as Abu Rayhan Beruni, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Al-Khwarizmi, and Mirzo Ulughbek to world civilization, as well as the efforts to study and promote their unique heritage.
After that, the members of the delegation familiarized themselves with the books and magazines published by the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, unique artifacts, and the book albums from the series “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in World Collections”, released by the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Promotion of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation projects that are planned for the future.
