At the initiative of the Center for Islamic Civilization under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, from December 2 to 7, scientific and educational events titled "Caravan of Enlightenment" will take place in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as in the regions and the city of Tashkent, focusing on the theme "Civilization, Culture, and Enlightenment."
The "Caravan of Enlightenment" aims to promote the development of the cultural and humanitarian sector in New Uzbekistan, highlighting the achievements of the new era of growth and reforms in the religious and educational sphere, as well as conveying the essence of constructive activities to the broader public.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the international research centers of Imam Bukhari, Imam Maturidi, Imam Tirmidhi, the Academy of Sciences, and regional khokimiyats.
As part of the "Caravan of Enlightenment," there will be a presentation of the seventh translation of the Holy Quran into Uzbek titled "Anvorul-Qur’on: Fayzul-Furkon", completed by the talented translator from the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Mirzo Kendzhabek.
Additionally, there will be free gifts of album books from the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Promotion of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage, part of the series "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in World Collections", for fellow countrymen.
Documentary and animated films about prominent scholars of the Islamic world, such as Al-Khwarizmi and Abu Rayhan Beruni, will also be screened, along with educational video presentations.
— “The Caravan of Enlightenment” is a new project. The main goal of the project is to enhance the knowledge level of the intelligentsia and those responsible for spirituality and enlightenment in all regions of the country. It is also important to familiarize participants with the work being carried out by the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Secondly, we aim to hear the opinions of our intelligentsia regarding this activity. Most importantly, we want to convey to the wider audience the reforms implemented by our President within the framework of New Uzbekistan, using modern methods,” noted the director of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, Otobek Khasanov.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the event must be conducted at a high level with maximum efficiency, and responsible individuals were given the corresponding instructions. Special attention was paid to the organization of video and film screenings that reflect the achievements made in the country recently.
