A roundtable was held in Washington with top companies.

On December 20, 2024, during a visit by a delegation led by Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev to the United States, a roundtable discussion took place featuring prominent American business leaders.

Attendees at the meeting included leaders from over 40 renowned companies, such as Cove Capital LLC, City, Bridge Capital Group, Creative Associates, FL Smith, dōTERRA, CalCity Industrial Park LLC, Crown Iron Works, Edward Austin, Nobel-Systems, North Coast Communications, Komatsu, JP Morgan, the Minnesota Soybean Producers Association, and others. Representatives from the Uzbek-American Chamber of Commerce, as well as experts from the White House and the U.S. Department of Commerce, also participated in the discussions.

The American side enthusiastically welcomed the successful conclusion of negotiations regarding Uzbekistan's membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO), emphasizing that this event will open new opportunities for international cooperation and strengthen economic ties.

Participants were provided with information about the dynamics of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the USA, investment opportunities for foreign companies, and new joint projects. Special attention was given to key sectors such as mining, information technology and telecommunications, agriculture, machinery manufacturing, and the agro-industrial complex. American businesspeople highly appreciated Uzbekistan's achievements in these areas.

The roundtable was held in an interactive format, with individual negotiations conducted in a G2B format with each participant, where the prospects for joint collaboration were discussed in detail. The government of Uzbekistan confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of agreed projects.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation and develop a joint action plan for 2025.
