On January 26, Uzbekistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrahimov held a virtual meeting with Carolyn Lamm, chair of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (AUCC).
The discussions covered the prospects of attracting American investments and advanced technologies for the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan, particularly in agriculture, food, textile, and chemical industries.
There was also an exchange of views regarding the organization of the next round of the Uzbek-American Business Forum this year, as well as inviting representatives of the U.S. business community to participate in upcoming economic events in Uzbekistan, including the 3rd Tashkent International Investment Forum.
AUCC is a non-profit organization that helps develop and strengthen trade and economic ties between the U.S. and Uzbekistan. It serves as a platform for interaction between business communities and fosters the development of trade, investments, and partnerships.The organization also conducts research and publishes reports on trade and economic cooperation between the U.S. and Uzbekistan, contributing to a deeper understanding of market conditions and potential for business growth.
