According to a report from the Uzbekistan Hotel Association, a Radisson hotel complex is set to be constructed on the territory of the former KGB building in Tashkent. Metropol Group and Radisson Hotel Group have signed an agreement to establish a hotel featuring 164 rooms.
The opening of the Radisson Collection hotel in Central Asia is scheduled for 2026. The total area of the complex will be 130,000 square meters. It will consist of four buildings that will include public areas, shops, a cinema, offices, apartments, and a multi-level underground parking garage.
The main and tallest building of the complex will be the Radisson Collection Hotel, Tashkent, which will be designed in a classical style and will cover an area of over 27,000 square meters. The hotel will accommodate 164 rooms, including apartments and presidential suites.
Additionally, the hotel will feature a restaurant, a lobby bar, and a VIP lounge. A separate floor will be dedicated to a spa with swimming pools. The 19th floor will house a sky bar with a terrace.
